Can anyone tell me what the difference between the 71-72 turn signals and the 73-77 turn signals are. I have looked up the schematics for 72 model year and 73 model year and there does not appear to be a difference.
The reason being I can get a NOS turn signal assembly for a 73-77 for half the price of a reman 71-72. The contacts in my assembly appear to be worn out because my running lights on my drivers side only work when the steering wheel is in certain positions.
This being said can I use the 73-77 assembly in my 72 or is there something prohibiting me from doing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

The plug is what I noticed first...didn't look any further.
