It plugs into the driver's side door switch.

Not sure what you mean. I just removed a set-up from a 1974....so I can probably help.

Yeah I know this is an old post, but I like to know where the Courtesy Light mounts. I thought maybe on the lower package tray screw but the light assembly will be seen if I mount it there. This got me thinking that they might be mounted somewhere else...like farther under the dash. Does anyone have a photo of this? If so, PM the pic so we can leave everyone else in the dark when they search the subject 4 or 5 years later down the road. :D......Or, post a pic on this thread.

This is on my list too. I have the harness but have not explored how to mount it. Pictures would be great.

I'm also adding the map light while the headliner is out.

I have the trunk and the hood light. I think I will have the whole package.

Since my car is a 74, it has the glove box, and appears to mount to the inner support for the glove box panel

Thanks for the pics. This could explain why I'm having a hard time figuring out where I want to mount them using a package tray so they look like it came this way. I might have to make a bracket to stuff them under the dash somewhere. I do have some lights that came from a late 70’s/early 80’s F150 that shows potential for this project. Maybe mount them on the kick panel.(?)
