    hey all,

I was wondering if anyone knows if the front brake drums are removable from the front hubs (like 65-73 Mustangs)? If they are, are they the same as Mustang hubs?

Would Mustang hubs fit on Mav/Comet spindles?

    Thanks!

    but...

Autokrafters is selling front drums with no hubs... they say it needs to be pressed on and off and to use new wheel studs. So they do separate? :hmmm:

I have a complete set of 5 lug front drums of a '74 if you need them.

I bet they will press off. I know the ones on my F100 are supposed to. No not the same thing but the same years and Ford did things pretty much the same on a lot of cars and trucks,

They will come off. One of my projects is disc brakes for 4 lug cars. I have pressed quite a few drums off the hubs with my BFH press. :D Just set the drum on concrete, take a solid block of wood and place it on the top of the hub, then let the bfh do all the work.
