My church is holding our 3rd "Life Is Good" car show on September 12th, 2009 and I would love to see anyone's Maverick that could make it - besides mine! Registration is from 12:00 noon to 3:00 with awards at 4:00 p.m. There are no classes as we do "People's Choice" by participant voting. There are at least 20 custom hand built trophies (maybe more if we can design and construct them!) and dash plaques for the first 75 registrants ($10.00 entry fee). We have a fenced, shaded playground for kids next to the show lot. Hot food will be available from the Men's Group and we'll have live music. Door prizes will be provided throughout the day. At a past show we had a SOHC powered ski boat as well as a fire truck, street rods, pick-ups and muscle cars but that would all pale in comparison to a group of Mavericks & Comets!!
