help someone!!! IGNITION PROBLEM

    were is the ignition switch on our cars:huh:

    went to start the car yesterday and it would not stop trying to start... went to turn the car off and the key actually came out while it was running!!!:mad::bs:

    so i ran to unplug the battery and im trying to see if it was the ignition switch but i can find it!!!

    talked to maverick maniac and i guess he had to go real quick.. he mentioned it was on the firewall and then i lost my at&t bars:bs:

    It is in the steering column.

    stuck solenoid, when that happens again, give it a good whack, then buy a new one.

    ...and the starter solenoid is usually located on the passenger side fender apron.

    ... its got them big battery cables attached to it.

    well i replaced the solinoid and plugged up the battery and no more running starter =) thanks guys

    it runs great... lots of power but still no burnouts... even if i hold the brake...
