I have a question about the 1973 bumpers on our cars, are they different from a Comet and a Maverick, is one straighter then the other or does the Comets have bends in them?

That is one huge bumper

Hood, grill, bumper and that FLAT PIECE OF METAL that fits behind the bumper all project forward. I suppose the plastic & metal brackets that attach the grill to the rad support are also different...

... and it looks like the two "inner" forks that attach the bumper around the middle (by the license plate) would be slightly longer in a Comet.

Yeah all the Comet parts seem to stick out more. I have personally tripped over my front bumper. It makes for a cool snow plow in the winter when i use to drive it in the winter.
