Mystery Part! found ziptied to car

    hey guys, found a mystery part zip-tied to the front of my car. thought it was supposed to be there for a while. now not so much. Any guesses?

    If you are not running A/C, you can take it off along with all the hoses attached to it.

    Beware. It may still have pressure on it, unless other A/C components have been removed. Then it should have no pressure on it.

    hmm. so it's supposed to be on the front of the car like that? it had the hoses cut on it already when I got the car. I do have an ac compressor in the car and the car had ac from the factory. it would be nice. Is it difficult to resurrect that bad boy and get him hooked up again? I'd say ac's are not my thing, but I'm still searching for that thing that is my thing.

    Don't start taking things off and throwing them away yet. If you are gonna want ac working you might need to have parts to match to. I would bolt it up and leave it till you decide what you want to do.

    If it's been exposed to moisture for a long time, that dryer will probably need to be replaced when you decide to repair your AC, but I'd keep it anyway for now.

    Yea cause the fittings and the direction which they are pointed need to match etc...
