For those who don't know... here's what's going on

Mini meets are few and far between, and the Round-Up only happens once a year. I thought this might be a way to get more Maverick and Comet owners together. I may have gone off the deep end, but here's the idea. What if we could start with one person (in lets say, New Jersey) takes a picture (disposable camera) of him or her with the car at the coast. Then later meets up with a person farther west, takes a picture of the 2 cars together, then hands the camera off to that person, and they meet up with some one farther west of them, and so on and so forth until the camera reaches the west coast. (it may take a few extra cameras along the way). Then that person mails the camera to someone that could set up a web site to post all of the pictures. This way we could all be involved without too much travel time invested.

Well here's the lastest update. Frank Cooper is going to kick off the event by taking a picture of his car at the Georgia coast, then he is going to take the camera to the Georgia Mini meet, on April 17th. We will need someone to take the camera from him... I would like to get the camera headed north to New Jersery this summer for the N.J. mini meet. We have Jerry in Tuscumbia Alabama(North West) If we could get the camera to him then move on up though TN, KY,IN,OH,PA, NJ, NY, We might be able to get it to Maine... Russ

Count me on... I'm in San Diego CA (TJ MX) and I can drive to L.A., San Bernandino, Riverside or some place around this areas...

I could cover 4 Southern states with no problem. I live in South Mississippi and could cover from New Orleans, South Mississippi, South Alabama, to Pensacola Florida. That's only about a 200 mile stretch from Pensacola to New Orleans.

Rick: YES "Trailer queens" are welcome I was hope that maybe we could get the folks with race cars would meet up with someone at a track. That way the race car doesn't get hauled around the country just for a ride.

well i might be unable to attend, my car isn't ready yet and i lost my job on thursday. and to make things worse while my car was sitting outside of the shop i have it at, someone smashed my driverside door in and busted my grill. so if there are any miracles left for me, maybe i'll be ready.
