I have a 4 barrel 600cfm holley street avenger. I live in Denver and I think I need different jets/I know. from what I can see there are two jets located in the fule bowl of the primary side. Are one of these jets responsible for the secondary side? If so should they be the same size or should the secondaries be larger? Also which is for which end of the carb?
The front and rear are seperate. Two in front and two in the rear. One per barrel. The front jets are smaller than the rear by about 5 sizes +/-. The general rule is, the higher in elevation the smaller the jet size.
What problem do you feel you have before changing jet size?
I have this old holley that I took apart. There are only jets in the one fule bowl. Where are the secondary jets? I'm just trying to see what I have to do before I rip my new carb apart.
Thanks so far. I live in Denver 1 mile high.....one jet size per 2000 ft. above sea level. That makes three sizes for me to change. where are the rear jets?
The rear jets are a plate.....how do you read these numbers
