    The mav is gone but i'm still here!
    There's two parts in there...
    the started solenoid and the Voltage regulator.


    And the VR controls the amount of voltage that flows trough it.

    the thing on the top is the starter solinoid. when you turn the key, it activates that solinoid and sends power to the starter motor.
    the box under it is the votage regulator. it controles the alternator.
