Greetings, I am a new member, I just found the forum tonight while looking for information on my Comet...figured you guys would know best, after reading a few posts. I am having trouble with the car stalling out when I get to a red light or coasting down a hill. If I put it in neutral while stopped I can sometimes keep it rev'ed enough to keep it running until the light changes. I had a knocking motor replaced recently, and the shop didn't hook any vacuum lines up... I connected some to the carburator and it is doing better than it was, but still stalls out. My first guess is fuel filter, from what I've been reading here, but I leave the diagnosis to you experts... where would the fuel filter be located if it is the filter? Also, I am moving a few states over and cannot take the car with me. What would you say is a fair asking price for it, considering the only trouble is it stalls ( and windshield wipers are off track ). Picture Below. Thanks, Gary
