Over the course of sprucing the car up and deleting the "Yellow Box" I noticed some things I had (Not completely) forgotten about. 1.- I think I need to change the valve cover gasket and 2.- There are 2 hoses/ tubes that have bolts jammed in them and are hanging there/sticking out. What are they and should I do anything about them? What isn't hooked up on my car?

The first one- kind of a bad pic but the second one shows where it comes from. It's hanging down in front of the horn, resting on the condenser hoses and it starts where that quad splice thing is sitting on the valve cover.-

See? The one I'm pointing at is the one that is cut off and plugged at the end.-

The second one- sticking out of the firewall. This one I'm a little worried about. 2 pics of this one-

If they're not clear enough I'll mark the pics to help out. Just lemme know.

The ones coming out the firewall, are the control lines for the A/C compressor, and the dampers.

Hmmm... What exactly do they do? Do I need to try and replace them?

Do you still have your A/C compressor connected?
The vacuum lines, are used to control the dampers for the heating & cooling system, and there should be a wire for the compressor control.

It's still correctly connected on the engine (With the belt and all I mean). It blows cold air into the plenum chamber, bit the door needs propped open as the vacuum controls are dead.
