I bought a set of c9 heads and was wondering how big the chambers were. I was guessing around 60cc but wanted to be sure.
Ford sizes them at 60.1 CC but there is a lot of variation in the actual size. I always measure and equalize them when I am building an engine. That way I know for sure what they are and that they are all the same. the polishing helps reduce carbon build up and you can unshroud the valves to match the chanber size. My last set equalized at 61 CCs with a nice polish and good clearance at the valves.
