Ok guys. i need some help. We've tried two different sets of manifolds on the 400. each time the passenger side manafold hits the spring. are their any that hugs the block like a 429's drivers side?

Shave the towers or fab up some headers.

Sounds like the towers are already cut out, if he's hitting the springs. All I can suggest is moving the spring mounts out a bit, or yeah, better, fab up some headers.

Or use a smaller diameter spring. Have fun seating em on the arms though...

Maybe a set of small diameter coil overs?

Sounds to me like you should have done a mustang II conversion before trying to fit a 400 somewhere it was never designed to fit.;) They don't even fit between the towers on a 67-70 Mustang (and they were designed to accomodate a big block) I want to know how you're going to bolt a 429 manifold to a 400 head.:hmmm:
