I love the place but not for what you may think......went there today to pick up a couple of tires and rims to put on the white maverick so I can move it (half price weekend) $13.50 for both....but before I even got in the place a guy pushing a wheelbarrow with a chevy tranny in it passed me as I was getting out of the Grabber, he ask if it was a true Grabber or a clone, I said it's the real thing, he said I just love those I had SEVEN of them! I was like nice ...what did ya do with them? He said I sold them but I have some parts (my eyes lit up big time) he said yeah I have a Grabber spoiler and prolly a Grabber hood also along with a bunch of doors (7 or 8)
and he offered me his number so I can see what all he has when he gets back home....so I WILL be calling him Monday and getting some parts....put your orders in now guys!
Of course the Grabber hood will be MINE! but if ya want me to see about other things, let me know.....this happens all the time at the Pick n Pull when I drive the Grabber and I just love it!

I'd be interested in the spoiler if the price is right.

Called the guy today he said he has the spoiler (complete) and a few doors left...said he would go into the barn and see if he can find any more it was dark when he had the first chance to take a quick look so he would call me back as soon as he can look around more.

Well after a trip to Black, Alabama today the whole deal is a wash out parts were crap...whole car there was crap and he wanted $800.00 for the junk, he could get more if he crushed it, he should have said "yeah I have Maverick parts but they are crap and way overpriced"......maybe next time.

I would love to have the car...it's a 71 grabber with a 302, factory air (that would be nice, the vents went across the bottom of the tray!) it had the sport mirrors and the rear spoiler, the interior was shot, missing quarter glass, rear bumper was pulled out in the center about two foot (he said he pulled it out of the woods by the bumper) the hood had no front lip it was all rust but the scoops were there and the grille was missing the center but had the clear lenses that I am needing still intact. I may have given him $300.00 for the whole car but only if he had a title to it. it was sort of a greenish gold color with a wheat colored looking interior. floor pans were very good from what I could see and the 302 was complete along with the (much desired by me) A/C, when he said he would not sell parts but would sell the whole car I ask how much he said $800.00! I said good luck and left.
I called the guy back that had told me about the car and told him that they wanted $800.00 for it and he said ya gotta be S***ting me! he said they told him $400.00 to buy the whole car! they must have though I had a tightly wound paper stick up my rearend (sucker) and a pocket full of cash.
