I was looking at ordering these through AutoKrafters and I was wondering what they were exactly. Are they the tough, carpet-like material you find in cars today? I have the plaid trunk mat, are the divider boards for putting underneath the mat? Thanks!

I believe what you are talking about is the board that goes behind the rear seat. If you look thru your trunk towards the back seat, it keeps you from seeing the seat.

Don't know if its the same in all years, but the divider in my '72 was made out of roofing felt/tar paper. It even had the lines to show you where to nail the rows of shingles. :biglaugh:I replaced it and the package shelf with Masonite.

Here is what it looks like in the catalog:

Yep, that's it. Goes in before you put the back seat in to cover the opening into the trunk.
It is just roofing paper. A friend at work had a roll of it in his garage. He cut me off about 10 feet of it and I made my own by tracing my beatup original and then cutting it out.

Cool, I happen to have roofing paper, so I will use just that. Thanks everyone!
