the inner parts on my front tires are wearing down. bryant took a look at those long rods that extend to the front of the car (dont know what they are called) and said the bushings on those are beat up. where can I get new ones?

The strut rod bushings you should be able to get at any good parts store. Dont get poly urethane ones, get the rubber ones. Moog preferably...Good luck!!!
Are you certain you dont need an alignment...You may have a toe out problem...

Usually inner tire wear is caused by too much negative camber. Wear across the whole tread can be a toe problem. The strut rods adjust caster, which is usually not a wear factor unless they are so loose that the tire wobbles.
On our cars you have to make sure the camber adjustment eccentric bolt is torqued to the proper value otherwise a hard bump will knock the adjustment out and it almost always will go negative due to the weight of the car pulling down on the lower control arm.

What he said.

I had the same problem, got an alignment, then the problem came back pretty fast. I didn't notice my strut rod bushings were shot until much later. After I replaced those and got it aligned again, what a difference! The car really felt a lot more stable and no longer had a tendency to wander or pull under braking. Be sure to lookup the torque spec on those. I think it's about 60 ft/lbs, and I wanna say that might even be in the documentation included with the parts.

I bought the Moog set from Rockauto.

I did recently have an aligment done, maybe 6 months ago. but since all the suspension stuff has been rebuilt 8-10months ago its weird why the bushings have worn out so fast
