Mustang/Fox Body Front x-member

    76 Small Bumpered Maverick(sold), 691/2 Maverick, 55 Ford Club Sedan, 65 Fairlane 500 Hardtop, 1960 Galaxie Club Sedan
    Anyone ever try and install the front x-member assembly from a Fox bodied mustang, into a maverick? Was thinking the struts might just go right into the shock towers. Then we could have updated front suspension and rack and pinion steering.:scratchchin:

    I think the R&P kit will be cheaper and easier than trying to re-event the wheel when all the dust settles

    Isnt it called a Kmember? Its not as easy as just swapping in the parts. You have to have the geometry correct. Its possible though ive seen it done to old falcons.

    i think the frame rail in a fox mustang is higher up than the mavericks frame rail.
