I have a 1975 maverick I'm about to drop a 302 in it, The new motor has a Accel HE Distributor. Does anyone know if I can remove the ignition module? I'm not sure if it controls anything else on the car, plus's its leaking like a SOB.

Cool thank you, what about the resistor on the other side by the solenoid, is that needed? I would love to get rid of as much as I can in the engine compartment
