I lifted this picture from somewhere else. Whats that little part right below the voltage regulator. Looks similar to the condenser from the distributor. Mines corroded to hell, can't make out squat on it, and can't find it in any of my manuals. Replacing it is one of the last things I need to do to troubleshoot an overcharging issue before I go nuts and replace my alt or regulator a 3rd time.

It is a noise suppressor thing-a-ma-gig.

Ok, I suppose I walked into that. Electrically speaking I was pretty sure I knew what it was. A filter on the ground to cut out some of the EMI from the engine.

But that doesn't mean I know what it is to replace it. Looking for anyone to have a part number or specs for it. I've rebuilt most of the harness already I just need to source this part so I have a full replacement.

Thank you. Now I can replace it. Although, I may just take it off.
