  • This my 1974 Maverick Grabber. I got this car last May. Everything on the car is still original (Motor, Trans and Rear). Nothing has been thouched other than paint. I did change the intake and carb. The stock carb was shot. I also did the Accel points eliminator kit and 50,000 volt coil and wires.
I am planning in pulling the motor and trans. I have a Summit master rebuild kit with Seal Power pistons that will bring the compression up to 9.54:1. Along with an Edelbrock performer cam and a set Headman shorty headers. The heads are going to get some match bore and polishing along with 1.84 intake and 1.60 exhaust valves. The goal here is to keep it original on the out side. The trans is getting a B&M 2000 RPM stall converter and rebuilt with a B&M Trans Kit. Future plans call for a Yukon Locker and Richmond 3:55 gears.
For paint I plan on going with. Eastwood Coastal Highway Blue and polish the stock rims,
As far as body work I need a new hood and rear bumber and need to do some work on the bottom of the doors.
