Am i searching for a russel fitting that doesn't exist?

    I Changed up my fuel lines the way they were routed ect, now where everything it mounted i can run my regulator attached to my fuel filter, with is 3/4" NPT..and my regulator is 3/8 NPT...is there a reducer or "step down" fitting to get? i've searched summit/google for 45mins now and i just can't find one. the closest thing i found was a 3/8 - 3/8 NPT, but ofcourse i need the 3/4 - 3/8, heres the one i found that doesnt work. but it the same style as i need, if someone can tell me if what im looking for doesn't exist or has a part # i'd appreciate it before i go crazy. thanks

    go to Can Tire, Home Depot or Rona, in the plumbing section you can get brass adapter fittings.........
    if you want a Russell, then p/n: 661630 cheaper to get brass one at Can Tire etc.....

    Are you sure your fuel filter is 3/4 NPT? Not trying to be smart, just curious. Is it an inline filter? Might be easier to get a "reducer bushing" like Jegs # 555-100467, or something similar. http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS+Performance+Products/555/100467/10002/-1

    It's the older style Barry grant inline filter..looks like a cannister. i think i have to get the reducer, thanks guys. hoped for just one fitting instead of two or 3..but 2 is better than 3.

    EDIT; just called the 2 stores i go to..all 4-6 weeks away on that damn reducer..last try is napa then i'm SOL if they don't have it.

    Turns out I had 3 fittings to make that part work.. Would have rather 1 or 2 but I had these on hand & I pretty much got the fuel Lines beat now... Onto te next project! List is getting shorter before I get the break the engine in.

    If it's this one, the fittings are -10 AN and NOT pipe threads...

    Aren't those o-ring fittings going into the filter housing? Most aluminum race type parts use o-ring instead of pipe. It's AN on the line side but I'm pretty sure it's o-ring on the housing side.

    Try screwing a fine thread bolt into the hole by hand. o-ring is common fine thread.

    AN -10 threads are 7/8-14, while 3/4" NPT has the same thread count, the diameter is over 1" so they shouldn't be able to get "mixed up"...
