Pulled this off Yellowbullet. Good deal for someone looking for a new project. http://syracuse.craigslist.org/cto/4305389594.html
that looks like a major head start for someone building a race maverick lots of good parts to go with it too if I had the money and the car was closer Id be seriously considering it. I see around 6k in chassis work if not more then the new parts would add up to another 4k if not more so theres a $7k jump on the build if you bought it for $3k you could prolly walk in with $2k and trailer it home incomplete race cars are a hard sell and usually thats an advantage for the buyer. it also means the guy ran out of money or lost interest or both either way unfinished race cars are almost always sold for pennies on the dollar
frank you know good and well what Im saying since youre building a race car now. even though most of the work is done by you youve prolly spent twice that on your car already and if I remember right you dont have a full tubular chassis or that full tub setup or the rack and pinion front end
I built my car this way and saved a ton. although all the tin and glass was done. I got mine in August finish the body and paint, finished the cage, dropped in my motor and trans and new wiring. Made opening day March 3rd. Just wish I had a garage, working on the carport sucks.
I believe if you take off all of your internal and external parts of your car, it would look pretty close to the Maverick shown in July 2014 of the calendar
then all you have to do is install... all of your internal and external parts of your car...and you will be done...
hello guys , im new here and this is the car i got recently . I got sick of having foxbody mustang and seeing all the same thing at the track . So i saving the motor from that car putting in this one . Hoping for mid to low 9s bracket car for PRO or do some index racing . I feel i did pretty good for 3k on it , my last fox was a full chromoly cage and cage alone was 5k worth of labor and materials to have done at DMC here in ma plus the the aje front end that came with the maverick is a plus
