It's a shame that rear end cover will be hidden by the gas tank.

 

I know, but I thought it would be something different. I stole the idea from hot rods I have seen where the rearend is visable from the back. It is going to be the same with all the fancy hardware I am installing.

 

Glenn has one, on his Hot Rod....

 

I have one on the back of my 32 for just that reason. I did think about it for the Mav, but I know it won;t be seen so I didn't do it.

Not much progress but I thought I would show off the upper shock mounts.

 

How much have you spent on hardware alone? Have you been keeping track of what size of what goes where for future builds/community knowledge?

 

I am keeping track but I tagged and bagged all the hardware of this car when I disassembled it as well as my second car that I use as a blueprint. I forgot to mention all the knowledgable contacts I have on the forum.

 

Your choice of hardware is a large part of why this car looks so incredible
