I took my engine off the stand and installed the pilot bearing, flywheel, clutch, bell housing and clutch fork...

As for the pilot bearing I was a little worried, I got out my socket and small hammer and when I put the bearing into the crank it just slipped right in... Someone told me that some are loose like that and to put some grease on it to hold it in... I hope it will be ok...

Yes I did the cam repair kit. But I wasn't able to take the Comet out afterwards cause of rain and then getting sick. I will try today after work if it dont rain.

Drove the Maverick to drop off at the glass shop. The early morning ride was a bit chilly because I don't have the heater core hooked up. I'm amazed at how good the car rides and drives other than the frt brake shake. I bought 2 new NAPA drums at lunch. Heading to Atlanta tomorrow for training. I hope the car is ready when I get back.

    Alright,

Finally home! Feels good, during the day I have nothing better to do than work on the maverick. So I did a little mocking up, playing with the look a little bit.

These bumpers are just held up by stands, trying to figure out how I want to them to flow, angle, and mount. Had to do a little trimming of the fenders, but no biggie. When I am done I plan on having about 1/8" of a gap from the bumpers to the body.

Also checked out the wheel size and its gonna look good. A little wheel tuck looks good. Fronts I will probably go with a 17" wheel with maybe a 30-35 side wall instead of 45RZ/18's in the rear.

    Whatcha think?

Rear bumper is a 68 Shelby Mustang bumper
    Rear tires are 295/45RZ/18
