Great job, Don! it must feel good to be driving it again! I have been taking notes while watching your progress and i plan on using some of your Operating Experience. Thanks for sharing it with everybody!!
I said I was done but really have a couple things left. I decided to check all the under car neon to see if they all still worked. If they did, I would hook em all back up. They worked. Here ya go......
I said I was finished but my decals came today! I had forgot I ordered them. So here are the final pics to end my thread. PS...These may not be 100% accurate but it was as close as I could get. Before.... After...
Crap! I keep forgetting about that, not used to having one. Well, I guess there will be one more pic....
That looks awesome. Now since you're going to have to do 1 more picture, please try and get a good light source so it doesn't look like 8 different colors of blue. I want to really drool over it once. (That paint is murder on cameras with its I look different from every light angle sheen)
I have installed my battery hold down, corrected a motor mount bracket that was wrong and also installed the correct radiator. In hindsight I should have ordered the one for an A/C car. I keep trying to use a shroud from one and can't get it right. Well it's over and done with now. I have the shroud installed with the factory 250 non A/C fan. I'm sure it will be just fine. I received an H4 headlight conversion harness and will be ordering the conversion bulbs next week. That should finish up everything except the carb and the rust repair in the fender. The carb I can live with for awhile, I leaned it out another quarter turn and dropped the idle even lower. Car runs very smooth and doesn't shake in gear any more. Happy Happy Happy Here is a couple pics in the natural light as requested.
It's come out very nice, looks better than it did when it was new. Nice Job! Now......get rid of those yellow wires!!
