Hello everyone! Would just like to introduce myself as i just purchased a 70 Maverick about 3 weeks ago and think this site is AWESOME to say the least. I am 16 and this is my very first car and not only that, I bought it all on my own so im pretty excited and take a lot of pride in that :yahoo: As i said it is a 70 Maverick which is the blue/teal color, and has a 200 I6 3 on the "tree". It has a 71 grabber hood and spoiler and a mustang rear end to convert it to 5 lug all around. Oh and the best part about the whole thing is that she has 9,048 miles(no it has not rolled over) and absolutely no rust. I am the second owner and the guy i bought it from had not drove the car since about '85, only starting the car once or twice a month to keep it in running condition. I know i got a smokin deal on the car and don't plan on selling it anytime soon but what do you guys think the average market price for this car would be?

    Welcome from Northern California!:chirp:
You should definitely take pride in purchasing it on your own. I also purchased my first vehicle on my own. I saved up and bought it before I had my license, but it wasn't a Mav.

It is hard to put a price on a car from just the description. Could you post up some detailed pictures?

Unlike a Mustang, which could be a pile of rust and still worth $20,000 if it is a real 302 Boss car. Condition is everything with the Maverick as far as value.

Why don't you tell us what you paid for the car? That will help us determine MARKET VALUE.
