Ive been looking at getting some AFR heads. Alot of the better heads have this note "195cc Competition Package exhaust port is raised .125" would that cause any issues with our cars? I know that there is not a lot of room when it comes to full tube headers as it is.

If you put shorties on it,you`ll probably be OK.Longer tubes will be more of an issue w/ your floorboard under the car.

What kind of engine are you building? A set of AFR 165's, 185's or several other good aftermarket heads are capable of supporting 450-500HP without raised exhaust ports.

Im building a 347 stroker motor using a dart iron eagle sportsman block. Im probably going to pushing around 450-500hp on my original set up, but im trying to build this so if i ever deiced to add any more power the engine will be able to handle it with fewer changes.

I might go to a dual squad setup or maybe even a blower in the future

I hope you are using an aftermarket block, cause a ford block wont live long with an engine making 500hp then adding a blower! As for the heads Trick Flow makes a nice head with 190cc intake runners that have the exhaust ports in stock location. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/tfs-52516601-c01/overview/make/ford

.125" is 1/8th" .... I doubt it would give you much trouble with any header. In my case, I think it would help a small amount .... 351W with exhaust ports way too close to upper A-arm area of the shock towers.

Does the 351 and the 302 both sit at the same height in our cars?

I run the AFR 185's on my 347, and they do great.

I went to my machine shop I saw two sets of afr heads with the actual aluminum broken off where the stud goes and my engine builder said its not the first time hes seen those same heads with the same problem so I switched from afr and went with dart heads since theyre the same price and in his opinion made of a better aluminum/metal quality

Then your machinist is biased(big surprise there) and simply doesn't know what he's talking about. All those heads are the same grade(356) and receive identical T6 heat treatments. Also.. outboard bolt boss/shoulder thickness is about the same on both castings too.

In fact.. either of those heads is stronger than a factory AL head by a substantial margin and those heads aren't known for cracking off the outer head bolt bosses either.
