Only the LDO (Luxury Décor Options) had reclining buckets. There was another bucket seat option in 1973 that did not recline. You will find if difficult to get new tracks. Best to figure out what is wrong with yours and fix it.
73's came both ways, with the package tray, and the glove box. You need to post some pictures, so we can see this console, no Maverick ever came with a full console from the factory.
Yes, they did. I was looking for parts on craigslist.com/ grand rapids Mi . There is a 1972 for sale and it has the same console as mine. When I get my seats fixed I will reassemble and post pic's..
console not consolette I checked that craigslist post and it is gone I don't know if he sold it or jerked it. It seems unlikely that his 72 would have the same console as mine if it was from a donor car, but it is possible.....
I'm eating crow It is not a Maverick console. I got my seats recovered and disassembled the console and found trim marks that would not be on a factory unit. They did a nice job though. I think its from a Mercury bobcat. I've got Bobcat tail lights so I will leave it in, it looks good. I'll get pic's when I get the shifter bushings in and console installed.... I should have known not to doubt the pro's
Seat tracks Disassembled the seat and found the seat base was broken in 6 places. welded it up, painted it and put it back together and all is well...
