I periodically see one around town that is at least another foot taller than that. The guy that drives it is "maybe" 5'-2"... He literally pulls a ladder out from behind the front seat, climbs in, pulls the ladder up behind him.
Check out this website ... http://www.hardcoretrucksoffroad.com/Gallery.html This shop is about a mile from my house. The truck on the homepage cruises our streets all the time. There are at least two more similar ones that I have seen there. Stupid thing is that they don't have any pics in their gallery. The ones there in the gallery look positively wimpy compared to the three that really got my attention. Look at the truck in the background in picture 28 ... that is the one on the homepage, too. One of the funniest things I have ever seen was a slightly plump short woman, dressed like an executive (well-fitted dress and high heels) driving what likely was her husband's jacked-up 4 wheel drive pickup. She had stopped at a convenience store and I had just pulled in there. Watching her get back up into that thing was a riot. After a few unsuccessful attempts I was just ready to get out of the car and help her, but then she flopped belly-down on the seat, then shimmied around until she was face-up, but still had her hips and legs dangling. It was at this point, I realized I was trapped. If I had gone to help her at this point, it would have been far too embarrassing for both of us, and she would realize that someone had seen the whole thing go down. Then she had to worm her way around for a while until she actually managed to pull herself up, back into the cab and closed the door. This all took at least a couple of minutes. I was laughing so hard I was crying.
theyve got trucks with the HIGHEST suspension lift kits you can possibly buy then they put a body lift on top of that. they have to find the BIGGEST rims they can get THEN they put the SMALLEST tires they can get away with they look retarded especially when towing a little 8 foot aluminum boat behind them on a harbor freight trailer
I had a 79 F150 with a 13in suspension & 3in body lift and 44in tires. The top of the tires were at the bottom of the body. But the law in Indiana states that the bottom of the bumpers can not be more than 30in. off the ground. So I got rid of it around 10 yrs ago.
They do. Most of the time the suspension kit come with blocks to reangle both diffs. Plus they add real long ladder bars or square tubing(home made).
