Great info! Your list of improvements you have made is just what I need to do to mine. May need to talk with you and use your expertise if I run into issues. Thanks again :Handshake

Installed some dynamat to the floor of the Comet. Thinking about doing the areas behind the rear side trim panels and then the trunk.

Just install a set of 88300 Hedman Headers for the 302.
Was surprise how it was design for the Comet(Maverick).
My Comet has no P/S and no P/B...it help for the installation.

    On the right side:

Had to remove one of the two bolts that hold the steering link (the top one). I manage to install the header by the top...The blower motor was in the way but it went well. (Had to lift the engine about 2 inches).

    On the left side:

Had to remove a rod that goes from the steering to the transmission (near the neutral safety switch) part
#D1DA-7E330-FA...not sure the use of that rod?
    Install was from behind.
(Had to lift the engine about 3 inches).

    On both sides it's a tight fit...

With my install I took no chances...remove the chrome valve covers and (of course) the spark plugs.

Yesterday: Finally got the coax cable for my CB antenna run through the fender and into the car.

Today: Hopefully going to get the radio mounted and wired for power so I can get on the airwaves

Spent the last 2 days buttoning up little things, cleaning and final tuning. Still need to mount my trans cooler. Less than a week to get ready for the MCCI mini meet in Michigan. Super excited!

wrong color...it now matches my house roof. we also rolled out insulation on the old roof before putting on the new panels...
two weeks ago Collin changed out all the screws on the house roof (1,800).
Tim's youngest son Todd changed out all my shutters while Collin was on the roof.
Tim and Holley have some great Boys (3)...:thumbs2:
