You can buy the same motor, unsealed, and drive it on the street. It's the same motor as in a street driven Mustang.. You could drive that car on the street, with no issues whatsoever.
Just say you don't like the engine because you're scared of technology and you don't like the car because it is a race car and you can't build one. That's what you're really whining about in this entire thread. "Its a race motor." All that separates the engine from a true street engine are the sealing caps on the bolt heads. Otherwise, it is another stock 5.0 Coyote engine. Buy the unsealed, non-NMRA legal engine and you get a 2 year warranty. "But that's not what he's doing with it." Well boo-frickin-hoo. I guess all these Mavericks on the drag strip need to be scrapped because you don't like "big wheel motor stands" (which, by the way, is the dumbest thing I've heard in a while). You just can't stand the fact that some people like to go really fast in a straight line while you putt around town and polish the car. Poor, pitiful you. Why can't you either say, "Nice car" or just shut the hell up. Always someone with the negativity chirping from the pissant gallery.
if it was "a car" it would be nice... anyone can build a motor to run 1/8 to 1/4 mile...usually someone has built one faster...that's why they have ...classes...so even the slower cars can have a winner...
