Flowmasters are made in the USA

Pretty sure that Jegs knock off of an american product was made in china.

They are. And these unpacked squashed can style mufflers don't flow quite as well either. Big surprise there, eh?

You all are probably rite . But I can tell you this they look identical and are heavy like the flows . I'm sure the internals are different but if you shine a light in both mufflers from what you can see they look alike . It don't really matter I own them now lol . It's a weekend driver they will be fine .

I went thru this a few years back when I bought a copy of an air gap intake for a third of the price . People tried to give me he'll because of it . I understand buying American products but its impossible for the most part . I'm sure your computers and cell phones where all made in the USA ? I could go on an on . Just look around in your house I see what all is foreign . I beat its a lot more than you think .
It is what it is my pocket are not deep so if I can save some money that what I'm gonna do . Have a good one fellas !

I seem to recall something a while back about US made vs China knock off as you mentioned. Muffler is a muffler if it works and sounds the way you want who cares..

I like American made as much as any "American". But it's nearly impossible to make anything with out having to use something foreign made or supplied. I make gates here in America for instance. I buy from a local supplier. I use AmeriGas for welding lol.. The steel comes from China, Turkey, Mexico, Canada. I have yet to see steel stamped or marked from USA. But my gates are made in America and sold here ONLY haha. There is no escape..
