Alright guys I have decided to change the direction in which the maverick will be going. The idea in the beginning was a light weight small block ford car, now I am looking to build a touring car, one that I can someday take on the summit power tour and a road trip across America. I have the basic exterior design of which I would like the car to look like but have no idea what to do for the interior. Here is you guys come in. I need some ideas, on how to make the car completely one of a kind on the inside, I already have a set of summit racing bucket seats and that's it. Shoot me a few ideas that you have, for example I contemplated finding a dash from a 2005-2014 mustang and seeing if that would work. So ideas are extremely welcome.

If the picture loads that is what I would like mine to look like on the outside.

That's what the one I'm building is going to look like, I have that picture in the garage.

If it's going to be a power tour car I'd ditch those summit racing seats. They're going to tear your back up. A loud cabin noise will also take a toll on you.

Black is one of my favorite colors, but not for a Maverick.

yeah, id def swap those seats out. besides that, have at it.!! ive driven some super bare bones cars very long distances and always enjoyed it, but seat/spine support is a must.

Not going to go with black, the color will be charcoal grey with matching bumpers, and the seats will be changed after its maiden voyage.

They look awesome but - black cars amplify/retain heat under the hot summer sun. That is the reason, I wud never own/paint a car black - too many other colors. If you don't mind heat it's not an issue.

buddy when it's close to 100 degrees out and the car sits in the sun and you go in it, it doesn't matter what color it is.

Well, I can't disagree totally w/ your statement. You will pick up heat from solar gain thru glass, but, park a light color car nx to a dark color and I wud be willing to say the temp in the dark color wud be the higher of the two.
