Went back to the shop this afternoon and made some more progress..... Got the fire wall feed connector in and hooked up a few of the many wire I had going everywhere, also got some more stuff tied up..... Here is the connector in place..... Here is what the wiring is looking like so far.....
Where did you get the fire wall feed connector? That seems to clean up the large factory harness nicely.
I got that one from my work, but I have seen them on line at several electrical supply places when looking for terminals.....
Do a Google search for "22 pin bulkhead" and you will find them. That is the same bulkhead I plan to use for my project. And if Frank uses them, then I know the are good stuff.
Made more progress on the wiring today..... Also made and painted a bracket that bolts in beside the steering column the will hold fuse boxes..... Here a pic of the bracket I made(I will post pic's of it mounted next weekend)..... Here a couple of the progress even though it doesn't really look like it.....
Worked on the wiring some more today..... Actually made some progress even though it doesn't look like it again..... Here's a couple pic's just for the hell of it.....
More wiring today..... Got every thing run to the firewall feed, the new fuse blocks in place and about half the wiring done..... Also got the instrument cluster plugs done..... Getting close to having the under dash done, just need to finish the stereo and cruise control primarily..... Did I mention how much wiring sucks!!!!!' Here's the fuse blocks and bracket assembled before install..... Here they are in the car partially wired and one more of the dash.....
I am still looking for one..... I looked and could not find one..... If you could possibly get me the item number it would be much appreciated.....
It ended unsold, but I'm sure you can work something out with the seller. As far as the exh tubing, how'd you get the edge with the lip. http://www.ebay.com/itm/70-71-72-73...r_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c430c180f
