This is not an easy swap and has been done professionally. Narrowed 9" 31X18.50 Tires. Rack and pinion. Toploader 4-speed. Runs and drives like a stock maverick, ultimate street sleeper. Tuck and Rolled interior top to bottom. Rust free CA car. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ford-Other-...3cdf51b38&item=291218201400&pt=US_Cars_Trucks
Now THAT's cool!! So different to see a full interior in an otherwise full-out race car. Interesting car, for sure.
50k and it doesn't even have a small bumper swap! The engine in it is probably worth close to the starting bid though.
That's a lot of weight in that Pinto suspension.... Only seen a SOHC engine a couple of times..... Thanks for posting Maverickmike73
The guy had to be a fan of Dyno Don! He and Earl Wade built the first SOHC Maverick in about a week and it was surprisingly not all that different from this car.
This just came up on Ebay. Definitely a unique piece with a very high dollar motor. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-427-SOH...LIEVABLE-/291218201400?_trksid=p2054897.l4275
The old Pro Stocks had the towers shaved way back towards the fenders and the front coil springs stood straight up to get those engines to fit but this one looks like a Mustang II conversion because the entire towers are gone
They want fifty grand, and they only have four pictures? Plus, it can't be a NOS engine, it's in a car.....or do they mean it has nitrous?
Holman & Moody was a distributor for Ford back in the day. I think they are suggesting this cammer was an NOS crate engine of sorts.
