    Just curious. Did the Brazilian Mavericks not come with side-marker lights, or do the Brazilians just like shaving them?

    no marker lights on brazillian mavs...

    Other than the side marker lights, the Braziian government also never required the big bumpers that the USA got so all of their Mavericks looked like 1972 models

    The side marker lights were a Fed mandate I think 68 was the first year all cars in U S had to have them my 68 Camaro had them 67 didn't

    My 67 Dodge Dart did not have marker lights , AFAIR, 1968 Darts had them.

    seems like different manufacturers did different things on side lights prior to 69 just like vent windows ''astro ventilation'' was a buzzword on my 68 camaro

    the ugliest thing ever though was the big bumper crash mandate 73 for the front 74 for the back does that sound right?
