signature picture size

is there a need to limit all signature pics to a same max?

    not sure if its only me, but with the new forum (which i really like) in MMB classic style mode the signature pics of a few users appear huge on my screen.

    its a bit disturbing when reading through threads and the signature pics are bigger than the thread itself.

    not sure if there is an official limit, but as i found stefan gave the advice of a 400 pixel height max.

    dont want to blame no one, but IMO to have all signature pics at a reasonable size would make it easier to read the threads...

    what do you guys think?

    While I understand what your saying.. Mine shows up at the size I have no idea how to adjust it. It would be nice if it automatically re sized to what ever Stefan limits it to.

    You need to resize the pic and "save as" a different name...then link the new resized pic to your signature

    The pic I had in the signature was from Pohotobucket. It asks for a "URL". I don't see how to add a pic from my pc.

    I agree that some signatures are on the large size.

    I re-sized blugene's signature to a height of 250 pixels. Good compromise?

    That's great! I would like the yellow GT on one side and both the same size.. Even if it smaller to fit. Thanks.

    I thought mine was kinda big and it's still bugs me a little. I think Stefan got some of us appreciating a smaller signature. :2cents:
