I tried posting a picture (from another MMB thread) into a thread where someone had asked a question about seats. I used the Picture Icon in the Create/Edit Window and I can see the image. When I post the message, all that shows up in the thread is a picture icon with a red "X" over it.

Is there a better way for me to link/use existing MMB pictures other than just posting the links to the other thread? Am I doing something wrong?

Right-click the image, select "copy image location", then paste that in the image URL location that pops up when you click the "image" icon.

If you're using IE...right-click and select properties Then highlight the URL address and copy it. Close the properties window. Click on the image icon button. Paste this text in the window. Click insert.

Using Google Chrome and selecting "Copy Image URL" and pasting that in the box that appears after I click on the icon.

Works fine for FB pictures I am posting in my Project thread, but any pictures from the MMB in other threads give me the "X".

Paul, this is what I did to get the picture attached to this old thread to show up in this thread

    Copied the URL
    upload_2014-9-8_19-46-47.png

    Clicked on the image icon
    upload_2014-9-8_19-48-37.png
    Pasted the url
    upload_2014-9-8_19-49-4.png

    End result

Stefan: Your "End result" is showing up on my screen as an "X". Could it be something in MY settings?? It was doing the same thing on my work computer. Sorry to be a bother...

This is my attempt at following your instructions above:

    Looks good to me
    upload_2014-9-8_20-45-35.png

    Try the following in Chrome
    upload_2014-9-8_20-46-59.png

Click on reload after clicking on Network and Images
    upload_2014-9-8_20-47-26.png

Do you see a status of 200 or 304 for "nicemav.jp.667?"

I don't have an "Image" option, (or a Fliter Option, for that matter) and I don't see the file name at all when I sort by name and scroll through. I think I'm getting in over my head here. :) I miss my GUI's already...

Thanks for your patience, Stefan. Obviously it's something inside my google settings or something. I'll try again in the morning on the other computer.

Not that I know of. I keep getting the odd prompt to do so, but I usually ignore it. Said something about accessing information.... click! Is there one I should have, or shouldn't have?
