Thanks for all the nice comments! Oh, and actually I did have some interior work done...the headliner was replaced while all the glass was out. My paint guy said he would never want to install another one...LOL...guess it's a PITA.
So we can't get the "Maverick" front fender badges back on the car. The female pins or sleeves or whatever you call them that are supposed to be pushed into the holes in the fender are completely gone or fell apart upon removal of the badges. How do I get the badges back on? Does someone sell the female pins? Help... Also one of my badges is missing one of the pins...anyone have a fender badge with all 3 pins laying around that they are willing to sell?
You need barrel clips. I am not sure of the size. Mustang places sell them. I got mine from a Ford Dealer. They had a bin in the parts room just full of them. Do not get the plastic ones on eBay that say they are for a Maverick....they are not.
Ahhh...I see these on several internet sites including AutoKrafters...I believe they are the ones that fit a 1/8 inch hole. Thanks!
@Craig Selvey...just to be clear...are these the clips? http://www.drakeautomotivegroup.com/Store/Product/378362-S.aspx?wid=141
They do look like that, but the "correct" ones have a rubber cushion on them to keep the emblem from hitting the paint.
I've got my car back!!! Still need to mount the fender badges, get the side stripes put on...replace broken package tray( have one coming ), replace missing armrest clip...and give the inside and engine bay a good cleaning.
