    Hi there,
Awhile back I found a fiberglass shop that made these in Northern Ohio, possibly Toledo. I think the name was Glasstek or something like that.
    Anyone know?
    Thanks.

What is your build plan that calls for a 1 piece fiberglass front nose?

I had one on my Mustang and it was set up on a tilt. What pain that was. With shock towers in place it was horrible for access and the way mine was set up (it was done when I bought the car) it took two people to open it every time. Thank goodness I never had a carb fire! It was also a pain looking for someone to help me open it every time when I just wanted to tinker with it. Some things to think about. I'm not trying to talk you out of it, just letting you know what my experience was.

How do you make the shock towers look good when the nose is tilted? Take your fenders and hood off and what is left behind is fairly ugly.

On my Mustang I cut away everything but the towers themselves (all the surrounding sheet metal) and reinforced it with tubing. Knowing what I know today I would have eliminated them all together, but 20 years ago front end science was sketchy. But you are correct. When I bought the Mustang back in the 80's it had everything from the shock towers back to the firewall and the tilt front end. It was ugly with the front tilted and it really didn't accomplish much except for making it easy to get to the wheels!

I bolted my steel fenders, hood, valence and grill together so it can tilt it as a single unit - then I cut the fender bottoms off which will stay with the car as the nose tilts forward being split at the body line - this way the nose does not have to sweep an arc across the front of the door - I figured that this was only going to work well because I did remove all of my towers

    Stay away from Showcars...

They are crooks, and their product (if they even ship it to you) is crappy. And they are in Canada so after they screw you, you have no recourse to resolve your poor sales experience.

If you search for them on the forum, you will find many horror stories that maverick owners have encountered while dealing, or attempting to deal, with them.

Some of those Fiberglass noses are thick and heavy - you don't think lightened steel parts might work better?

This is the one that I bought for my car. Made by Suncoast Race Cars her in Florida. Took about 3 weeks. I may have been given a one time deal on it so I cant say what I paid for it. Notice that the wheelbase is longer and of course the killer front spoiler.
