    A bunch of us got together at Frank's house today for hotdogs and hamburgers. The weather was great and so was the food. It was nice to see everybody again.

    we had 26 guest including two Sheriff Deputy's that patrol this end of the County. 2 Guys that passed by came back to look at the cars.
    it was nice seeing the group again.
    I will post some pics. when I get them downloaded off my phone.

    Out of curiosity, when did the "Dixie Mavericks" become the "Georgia Posse" ?

    I have been away alot lately and missed the transition.

    When I first saw the Sheriffs in that pic, I figured things had somehow gotten out of hand ... neighbors called them because of the burnout competition in the road, etc? ... LOL

    when i joined the message board (2002) I was building a 71' Maverick. it was to be painted gold, hence the screen name...71gold.

    name hasn't changed... in a "parts wanted" thread someone was looking for a part. someone posted that the Ga. Guys were good at locating parts and referred to us as being...The Ga. Posse...as being able to track down cars and hard to find parts.
    Effie and I put together a cookout with Friends, their families and some of the Car Guys that have helped find some of those cars and parts.
