Engine is ready to come out, it's just sitting in the engine bay with the hoist attached, started at 10:00 this morning and stopped around 5:00 pm, found my hard starting problem, section of rubber hose on the fuel line right under the drivers seat is drawing air in, makes for a difficult first start-up after sitting a bit, plan for tomorrow is pull it and start tearing it down to the bare block, hoping to have it in the machine shop by Wednesday.

Finally got my mechanic (wife) in the shop, things are getting done now, block should go to the machine shop today, while it's there I am going to work out the transmission install and the front end issues, dress the engine bay up a bit, it's going to be in the machine shop for a while so I should have plenty of time for other issues.....some pics.....

Most of the stuff behind her are parts for her MaviGT build

You can see here in the bare engine compartment photo the issues where the PO cut way too much metal from the shock towers, that's the issue I have to address for the front end.

Light scrubbing after spraying with my secret formula (not really my formula I buy off the auto parts store shelf) and it is CLEAN! Remember it was painted green.

The mustang cross members don't fit unless you make modifications to it... buy Franks (71gold kit) or this is what I used with mods done to it.. I had to shorten the long ears and add tabs to lower it about an inch... It's wider too so I had to use a spacer to fill the gap... [IMG]

I have inquired about Franks crossmember in several threads but have gotten no response, I will try and PM about it, I want to know if he has them not welded together and a price.

I also had asked, and I'll ask you, do you think it will fit the TREMEC 5 speed?
