Yes a COMET would be the same....but right now nobody makes a "factory" looking seat cover. Generic seat covers are out there.

Regarding the Seat Covers .. I've been speaking to Diane of Automotive Interiors & accessories-Belchertown,MA
1-800-814-7533 .. and she assures me that she has " done " Mavericks" with the Rear Panel on the Bucket Seats and
others . She quoted $ 450.00 for Front and Rear Seat Covers .. and there is a catalog you can download on www.automotiveinteriors.com .. I've sent her photos of a Maverick I'm considering so she could confirm the style.
So far .. she is very positive . We'll see what develops

    Hi Craig:
You're welcome .. I ' ll let you know what develops on this end . If Diane can assure me that the covers will
" FIT " then I'll order a set and install them on a '70 Maverick I'am working on now . Pictures would follow.

Fred Carello makes covers for these cars. He has the patterns and can make them pretty much any configuration u desire. Fred is a member "fmc56"of this forum. I had mine done in vinyl/cloth, if I were to do it today I wud go w/ leather/cloth. Fred does nice work and has original type/materials.
