I have a buddy who wants to unload a 69 mustang for $700. No engine or transmission. Been sitting in a garage for a LONG time. What do you think I could turn it around for? It seems like it should be worth more than $700...
In some respect depends on orig engine code, the bigger the more value... A 428CJ(R or Q code) coupe in that cond would bring $2500 easily... If a 200, 250 or even 302, defiantly a ho hummer...
Oh, too bad. I was hoping these were a hot item and I could make a little decent cash off of turning it around. And help my buddy clear out his garage at the same time.
I would think so too - if it was pulled out of the garage and cleaned up a bit, I would imagine you could double your money - it just looks like crap now sitting where it is
Depends upon the condition of the doors, hood, and fenders, they all look like they have bondo? or is that flaking paint? Not original mirrors, so doors would need holes repaired. Probably a drum brake car that had a F code 302-2V? Scrap prices have been falling, yards are paying $80-125 per ton around here. Use that range to determine what you will get out of the leavin's. Disc brake parts and a 9 inch would be the only possible jewels, but are unknown from the pictures. Probably could easily get the $700 selling on Craig's list, does it have a title?
Has title. Looks like bondo, but I have not seen it in person to verify that, or any of the other items. All I have is these pictures my buddy sent me. But, considering it would need to be towed or flat-bedded, then sold, doesn't sound like it is worth the effort for me.
