Does anyone have an SEM, Scott Drake, NPD or other part number for the correct Argent and Silver colors used on the Comet grills, side marker bezels, etc? Specifically I was hoping to find the correct (or as close possible) colors for the NOS grill below. Also, what black is the best match for the GT and Grabber grills/headlight bezels?

    Thanks! :tiphat:

I used Eastwood products on my car. I found that the silver argent was a dead on match for the side markers. I had an NOS one that need the paint touched up.

I used Rust-O-Lem, automotive satin black in my grill/headlight area a few years ago and stands up well after several road trips. I know I got away from OE color scheme , but I like this better.

On plastic parts like the grille or vinyl like door panels & dash pads - SEM semi gloss black part #15243 is a dead on match to stock. On metal parts like the head lamp doors, tail panel, tail lights and the hood center (70-71 are paint) - I have been using SEM Hot Rod Black #HR010. Hot Rod Black is the perfect match to factory low gloss black and since it is a catalyzed 2 part mix, it will stand up to driving hazards like bugs, dirt and car washing.
