Does anyone know who reproduces the small, round maple leaf decals found on the door jambs of Canadian built Mavericks?
I can't remember seeing one, considering it's a Government thing, legally I doubt anyone makes them, but you never know.
Here is the decal. If someone can get me the diameter of the decal, I can see if a local can make it.
I know what it looks like, I just don't remember ever seeing one reproduced. 977 would be a number issued to Ford from Transport Canada. Since it's still in existence, if a company was to make them, I'm sure the government could go after them, for counter fitting or something.. It's not like there is concours Maverick judging..
I'm just looking for the diameter. I doubt I will be pursued by the secret service for making a copy of a 41 year old Canadian decal that I am confident is no longer current. I realize that mine is not a concourse restoration, but I still like the original decals that indicate where the car was made.
ECS reproduces these Canadian Transport Decal, p/n: FVV12 for $12. Here is link to their site. http://www.ecsautomotive.com/productdesc.php?co=f&id=74 David
