1975 Comet GT that my uncle and I just got. GT package verified on the Marti Report. You can add that there were just 2,163 Comet GT's built in 1975.

Thanks a bunch, Greg!! The 75 GT production numbers were a pleasant surprise!! :thumbs2:

Judging by the specs on the Marti-Report, it sounds like a great looking car! You realize, we'll have to see pictures. It must be just about time to open the Virginia Maverick/Comet Museum... :D

EDIT: Found the pictures. What a NICE car! Congratulations!!

    Thanks Paul!

We had talked earlier in the thread about the red and black '75 Comet GT for sale in PA about how we wondered how many GT's were made in '75.

We are really pleased with the car! The interior is awesome and he did such a nice job with the console. Looks like it was made for the car. It is also your favorite color, yellow!! :D

Thanks! There aren't any pictures yet, but judging by the VIN, it appears to be a 69.5.

It sounded promising but it wasn't. It is a one family owned car. Dad bought new in '74 and when he passed away in '92 the son got it. The problem is the car was bought new in Michigan. Both 1/4's are pretty rusty and there is rust at the bottom of the rockers and fenders too.

After seeing that I didn't even look under the hood. The car only has 71K actual miles. The interior was pretty decent and was black with buckets, floor shift and AC. The black steering wheel and dash pad was very nice. The car also had sport mirrors and a white halo vinyl top. If it would have been bought new here in VA it might have been a pretty nice car.

The owner was VERY strange and I just wanted to get away.
