So was looking around on ebay and came across these. Was curious if anyone has ever used something similar and their thoughts on them. Not completely sure about them. http://pages.ebay.com/motors/link/?nav=item.view&id=321686689511&alt=web
Having owned and driven around in several cars using them.. I myself really like louvers. But in this case, unfortunately I would have to completely agree only because they're made wrong and are completely backwards looking. However.. if they were made with larger slats that were more pronounced looking.. not "smoothed/rounded over looking" to match some FULL LENGTH rear window louvers?.. I'll take 2 please. If they're done right.. you can actually see through them just a little bit to slightly help reduce blind spotting.
hmmm.. there was also another guy around here from the states who was going to make and market his too.. but I think he wanted like 3 bills or something like that for his version. and I probably misspoke about them.. "being made wrong".. they very well may have decent craftsmanship for all the little that I know about them. I didn;t mean to imply that they are junk. I still think they look backwards though. Truth be known.. I was going to buy a set and cut the louvers out to make my own version with rear facing slats. Basically just buy the frame to shortcut it, is all.
They look like theyd be correct...appears he pictured the louvers underside/inner instead of the topside/exterior that
I think it brings a unique design to the maverick. But at the same time it seems like a mustang knock off to me. That may sound bad but in no way mean to belittle anyone's work or view. One of those hit or miss designs imo.
