Been working on a 61 Falcon for a couple years now and came across this 76 Maverick four door and it was to cheap and neat not to have. Runs but needs some TLC, just want to get it to be a reliable driver again. It's a 250, auto, a/c, power steering. Body is good a few minor rust spots. Question thou on the smog stuff, should I gut it or keep it? 20150328_195156.jpg

Unless you live in a state with vehicle inspections that require it.

Been doing some maintenance & repairs to it, got the battery tray and inner fender repaired, used a heavier thickness gauge metal where the battery tray sits, installed new fuel pump old one was leaking 20150412_145738.jpg 20150412_162653.jpg 20150412_194839.jpg 20150503_171738.jpg 20150503_171801.jpg and stripped out all the old carpet and backing, it was pretty nasty, floors are in pretty good shape thou, got a couple bad spots that will need to be cut out and patched

Not sure why I'm having trouble posting the pictures in the correct direction, thinking about using the darker green carpet in a 80/20 loop instead of the jade green push that was stock 20150412_145723.jpg 20150330_081345.jpg

    Nice car!
My car also has the 250.
I gutted my smog pump, and removed the A/C. Now there's oodles of room under the hood.
